2. Sunday, August 05th 2018. The First day in Thailand!

   On the next day, I and Reza continued our trip to Bangkok. We arrived at Soekarno Hatta International Airport at 4.30 a.m. after that, we directly checked in. The interesting part is when we were in the immigration we needed to explain our reason to the official. Then we finished everything and waited for the flight till our plane took off at 7 a.m. and arrived in Don Mueang International Airport at 10.30 a.m and again here we need to do the same process in the immigration. Then, we have to wait to next flight to Chiangmai till the plane took off at 1.30 p.m.

Finally we arrived at Chiang Mai International Airport ar 2.3 p.m while the representative of Lampang Rajabhat University have waited us there. Miss Ying and her assistant were there waiting for us and brought us to the restaurant in the airport who served “halal” food. I’m so glad they knew that we haven’t eaten our lunch :D.

After having lunch, we continued our trip to Lampang city by car. It takes around 2 hours from Chiang Mai to Lampang. Unluckily, we did not see the view during that time because we fell asleep because we were so tired after the long trip.

At 5.30, we arrived at Anuban Lampang Rajabhat University and waiting for the Principal of MEP Program. After they arrived they directly brought us to our dorm. Actually we live there with the nice landlord and our dorm is very comfortable with amazing facilities. How lucky we are. Then we continued our trip to drive around the dorm to let us memorize the way from our dorm to Anuban Lampang School and vice versa. Not only that, she also brought us to central plaza, the biggest shopping mall in Lampang to buy the Thailand sim card and she and her husband treated us the ice cream and after that they also treated us Thailand meatball.

Luckily, we have told before that Doctor Bangorn and his husband are muslim, it is easier for us to adjust our menu there and they are very kind to us like our mom and dad in Thailand.

 Before they picked us back to our dorm they shown the nearest mosque and market from our dorm. Finally after the long journey we ended the day with a very happy feeling! Our first day in Thailand is so amazing ! J
